The Siren Time Hops Simcoe is part of the Time Hops series. This series of beers is based on modern classics: leading beers that have been well known to enthusiasts for years.
The Siren Time Hops Citra & Mosaic is based on that oh so famous Focal Banger from the (legendary) brewery The Alchemist. Citra and Mosaic are the 2 'classic' hops used in New England IPAs. Having said that, it wasn't until 2008 that Citra entered the market! The Focal Banger (2013) was in that sense also the sequel to the even more legendary Heady Topper, and for brewer Kimmich, the combination of Citra and Mosiac was as natural as it made sense.
